The Highland Rogues Pirate Crew of the Grand Valley was asked to organize and officiate a wedding for a terminal patient and his beloved partner of 42 years. We were honored to host this heartfelt moment.
Monthly Drum Circles
Each month, Sweet River comes alive with rhythm and connection along the riverbank. Our drum circles welcome everyone—from seasoned percussionists to first‑time participants—into an evening of music, movement, and shared energy under the open sky.
We always provide cool drinking water, and potluck dishes are joyfully encouraged. A few chairs and instruments are available for loan, but bringing your own seat and drum ensures you can settle right into the beat.
Come as you are, bring what you have, and join the circle. The firelight, laughter, and rhythm make every gathering a celebration of community and the natural harmony of Sweet River.
